Copper City Bar & Grill: A Culinary Gem in Ansonia, CT

Parents came up to ct for the weekend for our monthly eat out. We decided to go local to where I live. I have never been to copper city bar and grill and I definitely have missed out. Christy attended to us , she was very kind and knowledgeable about what is offered and the best meals. The vibes were super chill , they had the food ball game playing so it is a great place to possibly watch the game. Everything we ordered and pictured was incredible. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because there were several items we did want, but they had a missing ingredient or they did not have at all so we had to switch up our orders.

Great hidden gem in downtown Ansonia. If you're a foodie then Copper City Bar & Grill is a must. The portions are very generous and the taste is spot on. The Seafood Chowder exemplifies that fact with its creaminess and abundant seafood - a meal all its own. The Slow Cooked Beef Rib Burger was in my opinion the best burger I've ever tasted. The Chicken Caprese Sandwich was just as delicious. Since it was a Sunday we were able to treat ourselves to the Sunday Brunch menu as well and ordered the Fried Chicken & French Toast dish... very unique and very good. The dining area was spacious and rustic with a bar in the back separated by a half wall. If you're looking to hang out at the bar, watch the game, there's ample room and a good selection of microbrews on tap. Great variety of music played in the background where I found myself tapping my foot to the beat of a few songs. They also have outdoor patio dining in the back for those warmer days. All in all a great place to eat with friends and family.

We have never ordered from a place and tried so many dishes and absolutely loved them all! All fresh ingredients. Delicious and bold flavors! Gotta try them today you will not regret it! We tried the Salt & pepper calamari, Orange Chicken (our personal fav), Beef Tips (green beans and creamy mashed sides so good and the beef melt in your mouth just falls apart)

My boyfriend and I come here at least twice a month and we have never once had any type of bad experience. The food is fantastic and the portions are HUGE for the price you’re paying. The nachos are delicious and unique and a must try! Different and creative burgers that are always a hit! Service is always fantastic and responsive. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area or looking got something new!

Very enjoyable. This restaurant is located in the heart of Ansonia downtown within the historic buildings. Had lunch with a large group of women. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Everyone seemed pleased with their specific meal ordered. Food was brought out for this large group in a timely manner. I ordered eggplant, which was delicious.

My birthday was such an amazing one and Aimee helped make that happen with such on-point customer service!!! It was my first time here and choose the place due to its good reviews. Aimee made sure we were enjoying our time thier, the food was really good and the atmosphere was pleasant. ( We went for late lunch / early dinner: 2:45-5pm) *Only downside* By the end of the time we were there it was getting a bit load, just FYI for those who go later in the day. With high ceiling/no sound absorbing panels that I could see, it definitely amplified the noise in the space. Gave this place still five stars on the basis of how our server went above and beyond to make the meal/time their for my birthday one to remember. Thank you Aimee! We held a family birthday party here today with over 20 people. Tom the Owner was great to work with and very accommodating. He helped us plan the menu and was easy to work with. Crissy did a fantastic job serving as did the rest of the staff. Everyone was very pleased with the food. I personally had the Maine mussel pot and it was refreshing to have something on the more unique side. Their menu is thoughtful and everything that my husband and I have ever had dining here has been very good.
